Norway’s Hoegh LNG has received the 126,400-cbm LNG Libra (built 1979) in Singapore.
The shipowner took delivery of the LNG carrier Monday before it sets sail Tuesday to start up its 6-month charter at the North West Shelf export plant in Australia.
Hoegh LNG bought the vessel from Mitsui OSK Lines subsidiary BGT Limited last August.
Technical management of the ship will continue to be provided by MOL LNG Transport (Europe) during the charter at NWS, said Hoegh LNG.
