Norway’s Golar LNG has confirmed another pair of LNG carrier newbuildings at shipyard Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea.
Golar said the two 160,000-cbm tri-fuel vessels were priced at slightly above $400 million.
The first vessel is due for delivery in the second quarter of 2014 with the other to follow in early 2015.
The company has secured an option for an optional vessel or a floating storage and regasification unit alternative with each firm ship.
