Golar LNG chief executive Doug Arnell expects charter rates in the sector to remain strong for the rest of this year despite some recent flattening off.
“Are we going hunting for $200,000 a day spot rates? I don’t think so.
“I don’t think that number is way out of line but we wouldn’t make any kind of such prediction,” he said in a results briefing this week.
