Golar LNG said today that it completed the sale of a floating storage and regasification unit to its spin-off.
The 137,000-cbm Golar Freeze (built 1977) fetched $330 million from Golar LNG Partners.
The John Fredriksen controlled LNG shipping outfits inked the dropdown deal earlier this month.
The FSRU is currently under a long-term contract with the Dubai Supply Authority to act as a floating terminal off the emirate.
