GDF Suez has confirmed its deal to supply a China National Offshore Oil Corporation with an LNG regas vessel.
The company said in a statement Monday that it has signed a cooperation agreement with CNOOC Gas & Power to supply its 145,000-cbm shuttle & regasification vessel GDF Suez Cape Ann (built 2010) under a medium term deal starting from 2013. The vessel , which has a maximum send-out capacity of 21 million cubic metres per day, will be permanently moored for use by CNOOC.
