Gail (India) has scrapped three bids from companies chasing an LNG shipping study after opting to relaunch a revised tender for the job.
The gas distributor has amended the evaluation criteria in its quest to find a consultant to map out a shipping strategy to transport its 3.5 million tonnes per annum of recently booked US volumes.
RINA Services and DNV Energy, respectively arms of Italian and Norwegian classification societies, lodged technical bids last month under the original exercise.
