Former French shipyard owner Chantiers de l’Atlantique hasinitiated new proceedings against LNG containment system designer GTT inFrance’s commercial court.
The move follows a UK judge’s ruling on the ongoing rowbetween the two companies.
CAT is suing GTT in Paris’ Tribunal de Commerce on the basisthat the Alstom Group was misled when accepting a “technical solution” in 2005that was to be adopted to solve debonding issues that had occurred in three LNGcarrier newbuildings constructed at the yard.
