Excelerate Energy has penciled in slots for a huge haul of eight floating storage and regasification units at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.
The company said that the options are for 173,400-cbm FSRUs for delivery dates between early 2015 and the start of 2017.
The 294 metre long, 46 metre wide units will be capable of a baseload send-out capacity of 800 million cubic feet per day with capacity peaking at in excess of 950 MMcf/d.
