Eni and partners are looking at floating LNG option to start monetising their massive gas finds off Mozambique.
The floating option would provide a faster start-up time than land-based alternatives under consideration for Offshore Area 4, said Carlos Alves, head of upstream at junior partner Galp Energia. The project could be operational by early 2018 under the fast-track plan, he said.
