Dominion has filed for permission to re-export the equivalent of up to 150 billion cubic feet of natural gas from its Cove Point LNG terminal in Maryland.
The US group’s terminal operating arm Dominion Cove Point has asked the Department of Energy for blanket consent over two years starting in December.
The application calls for Dominion to be allowed to act as an agent for other companies to re-export foreign-sourced LNG by ship to any importing country where trade with the US is not prohibited.Approval
