Vopak and Gasunie’s Gate LNG terminal in Rotterdam is close to starting commercial operations with the scheduled arrival of its first cargo.
German utility RWE is said to have bought a shipment from Qatar, which will arrive aboard a Q-Max vessel.
The 12 billion cubic metres per annum facility received its third and final commissioning cargo in late July on the 261,700-cbm Q-Max Al Samriya (built 2009).
