BW Group has pushed back the deadline for declaring two optional 155,000-cbm LNG carrier newbuildings it is holding at Hyundai Heavy Industries by a couple of months.
The company must now make a call on the ships sometime in June.
BW, which traditionally has only contracted new ships against long-term charters, is understood to be in “no hurry” to proceed with orders for the additional ships.
