A thorough inspection of a Mitsui OSK Lines-controlled LNG carrier that came under attack off the coast of Oman last week has revealed the vessel did not sustain any damage.
Marks in paintwork in the engine-room area are suspected to have come from three rifle shots fired from a fishing dhow at the 126,300-cbm LNG Aries (built 1977) near Masirah Island on 20 June.
