Angola LNG may require up to three additional vessels later this year depending on the cargo sales deals the new producer secures.
Extra tonnage will be needed on a short-term basis if the bulk of volumes are sold ex-ship into Asia, according to indications from the project’s new marketing outfit RDE, which is being set up in London. Sales into the Atlantic basin are unlikely to require extra vessels.
