Adriatic LNG pondering move into Q-Flex range

Qatar Petroleum and its partners are considering bringing Q-Flex LNG carriers into Italy’s offshore import terminal near Rovigo.

Adriatic LNG, the terminal joint venture between ExxonMobil, Qatar Petroleum and Italian energy outfit Edison, is examining what adaptations need to be made to allow 215,000-cbm vessels to call at the facility. Currently only LNG carriers of up to 155,000 cbm can berth.
