Yemen LNG confirmed yesterday on its website that the Balhaf liquefaction plant has been ‘up and running’since the end of August, after successful repairs to the main pipeline whichsupplies the plant.
According to the al Masdar news site, repairs to the 38-inchline were only possible once tribesmen granted a team of engineers safe passageto the site of the attack.
Production at the plant was brought to a standstill on 21August after insurgents used explosives to try and blow a hole in the pipelinesome 171 kilometers north of the plant, requiring at least one section of theline to be replaced.
