Yemen LNG said it has resumed normal operations about three weeks after an attack on its feed gas pipeline.
The restart comes after the government and the Total-operated exporter pledged to ramp up security after concerns that terrorist group Al Qaeda may attempt to strike again.
Government security forces received information that the militants were preparing an attack on the plant using car bombs and suicide bombers, according to media reports.
