Woodside has declared the Pluto LNG project in Western Australia ready for start-up. The Australian independent said first gas entered the processing train this week.
“This milestone is a credit to all those involved in the construction of Pluto, which proudly takes its place as Australia’s third LNG project,” said Woodside chief executive Peter Coleman.
He added: “Our operations team remains focused on the path to steady-state production.”
