Woodside has produced first LNG from its Pluto liquefaction project in Australia.
The developer announced the milestone Monday, claiming the development was a defining moment in the company’s history.
The project’s maiden cargo will soon be loaded onto the 165,000-cbm Woodside Donaldson (built 2009).
Pluto LNG is a one-train, 4.3 million tonnes per annum export facility fed by gas from the Pluto field in the Carnarvon Basin in Western Australia.
