Equatorial Guinea has signed multiple production sharing contracts for offshore acreage.
US oil company Marathon has secured a permit for block A-12, which is near its big Alba field, source of feedstock gas for the Equatorial Guinea LNG plant.
Blocks J-14, J-15, K-14 and K-15 will go to a consortium of US players Murphy Oil and Vanco alongside Dana Petroleum and state oil company Gepetrol.
