Swan Energy has scrapped a US supply deal for its planned import terminal project in India.
The developer had signed a term sheet for 3 million tonnes per annum from an unnamed liquefaction project but said its 2017 start-up would be too late to serve the regasification plant.
Swan is now back in the market for LNG to supply its proposed floating storage and regasification unit, set to be sited at Pipavav.
The developer expects to get environmental clearance for the terminal by September.
