Gas distributor China Natural Gas reported a leap in quarterly revenue after start-up of its inland liquefaction plant.
The company posted $36.9 million in third-quarter revenue, up 65.3% from the $22.3 million booked in the same period of 2010.
Bottom-line profits grew by 26.8% to $4.55 million.
Xi’an-based China Natural Gas began producing LNG in July. The outfit made $10.8 million in sales from the new small-scale plant at Jingbian last quarter.
