CH2M Hill, UGL Limited and GE have scored US$550 million in subcontracts for work at the Ichthys LNG export project in Australia.
A joint venture of CH2M and UGL will build a combined cycle power plant alongside the Ichthys onshore liquefaction facilities.
US-based conglomerate GE will provide gas turbines, steam turbines and heat recovery steam generators for the power unit.
The electricity generation facility will power 8 million tonnes per annum Ichthys at Blaydin Point, Northern Territory.
