France’s Total is poised to join the list of export capacity takers at Cheniere’s Sabine Pass terminal.
The energy major is set to sign an off-take deal for up to 4 million tonnes per annum of LNG and take an equity stake in the liquefaction project, it is understood.
It already controls 1 billion cubic feet per day of import capacity at the Gulf Coast facility under a 20-year deal.
