Total deal opens door to fifth train at Sabine Pass

Cheniere Energy has signed a deal with Total that lays the foundations for a potential fifth liquefaction train at the Sabine Pass export project in the US.

Subsidiary Sabine Pass Liquefaction will gain access to the French supermajor’s storage and berthing capacity at the existing Sabine Pass LNG import facility, opening up space for the additional plant.
