France’s Technip has scored a A$110 million (US$90 million) job to design an offshore gas processing platform for the Wheatstone LNG export project in Australia.

South Korean shipyard group Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering handed the group’s Perth-based Technip Oceania (TPO) the detailed design contract.

The award follows TPOs completion of front-end engineering and design of the platform.
