The BP-led Tangguh LNG project is gearing up to sell five to eight spot cargoes this year.
The Indonesian production plant will export the cargoes between May and the December, Rudi Rubiandini, deputy of operations at regulator BPMigas, told Bloomberg News.
Sources said Tangguh’s spot shipments are likely to come from diverted cargoes originally committed to Sempra Energy’s Energia Costa Azul terminal in Mexico.
