Talisman Energy is mulling whether to call on players with “existing LNG” plans in Papua New Guinea to provide an outlet for its gas assets in the country.
Executives at the Canadian independent said during a conference call this week that it has made progress in its search for a strategic partner that was launched last year.
International executive vice president Paul Blakeley also told analysts that Talisman still envisions aggregating gas from its 12 licences in PNG to feed an LNG export project.
