The Woodside-led owners of the deadlocked Sunrise LNG export project in the Timor Sea are updating budget estimates for the two previously rejected development concepts.
The operator said it is revisiting costs, uncertainties and challenges of an onshore LNG plant in Timor-Leste and an equivalent facility in Darwin in preparation for its next expected meeting with the Timor-Leste government, understood to be in Dili on 28 August.
