Jordan Cove is in “advanced discussions” with potential strategic partners for its proposed LNG export project in Oregon.
Lead shareholder Veresen said it is very encouraged by the market interest in the planned 6 million tonnes per annum liquefaction project.
“(There is) still a long way to go, we don’t have any contracts…but I would say in terms of level of interest it’s much higher than say even three months ago,” said chief executive Stephen White.
“Our proposed terminal and pipeline offered on a tolling capacity basis (provide) true connectivity of North American gas production to Asian LNG prices,” he added.
