Western Australia’s state government has delayed the key environmental impact statement covering the Woodside-led Browse LNG project.
Potential conflicts of interests have barred four of five board members at the Environmental Protection Authority from participating in the report.
Chairman Paul Vogel is the only remaining board member that can weigh in on Browse LNG’s filings.
State Environment Minister Bill Marmion said he wants to seek legal advice before publishing the report.
