SMOE is poised to land a sub-contract covering the pre-assembly of production modules for the second train of the Australia Pacific LNG project in Queensland.
The Singaporean fabricator is already responsible for module assembly of APLNG’s first train under a deal worth up to US$150 million.
Project engineering, procurement and construction contractor Bechtel made the award.
SMOE said previously that the train 1 work would be carried out at its Indonesian yard on Batam Island.
