Sinopec’s Kantons Investment has teamed up with an offshoot of China Shipping Development to deal with the transportation of volumes from the Australia Pacific LNG project.
Kantons and CS LNG will set up the joint venture in Hong Kong.
The new outfit aims to build around five LNG carriers to help ship some 4.3 million tonnes per annum of LNG from APLNG, kicking off in 2015.
