Cameron LNG has been granted a waiver allowing it to bypass the pre-filing process for its proposed liquefaction project in the US.
The developer does not need to go through the usual review stage with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for its plans to liquefy excess boil-off gas at the 1.5 billion cubic feet per day Gulf Coast import terminal, operated by Sempra Energy.
