SBM Offshore has confirmed a $500 million deal to provide a turret and mooring system for the Ichthys LNG export project in North West Australia.
Ichthys operator Inpex awarded the the engineering, procurement, fabrication and supply contract in January, as it geared up to a final investment decision on the liquefaction project.
SBM expects to install the system in the Browse Basin in mid 2015.
