Santos views its Crown gas prospect off Western Australia as potential feedstock for neighbouring LNG projects.
The Australian independent’s chief executive, David Knox, said today that the project could feed the nearby Browse, Prelude or Ichthys LNG projects.
However, much will depend on the results of drilling to be carried out later this year, Sky News reports.
“We’re talking very significant volumes of gas – LNG scale volumes of gas if this is successful,” Knox said.
