Santos logged a 21% rise in its average gas prices during the fourth quarter, in part thanks to stronger LNG markets.
The Sydney-listed exploration and production player, which is a shareholder in the Darwin LNG project in northern Australia, reported an average gas price of $5.55 per gigajoule for the period.
The company said in an activities report that the jump was a result of better prices for LNG and for gas from its Maleo project.
