UK-headquartered Ophir Energy has hit more gas in Equatorial Guinea to lift reserves to within touching distance of the target levels for a second train at the EGLNG export plant on Bioko Island.
The explorer discovered 800 billion cubic feet of recoverable mean resource in the Tonel-1 (R-4) well in Block R.
This find has bumped up the total recoverable gas resources in the Block to 2.2
