RasGas of Qatar has sold roughly 1.3 million tonnes in spot cargoes to South Korea this year.
Qatar Energy and Industry Minister Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada said the producer will supply a total of 8.3 million tpa in 2011 to the world’s second-largest LNG market, the Gulf Times reports.
That includes long-term agreements between LNG buying behemoth Korea Gas and RasGas covering 7 million tpa.
