Exports from Peru’s sole liquefaction project will remainat current levels despite government plans to allocate one of two blocks at thegiant Camisea feedstock field for development for domestic use.
“Exports will continue as long as the country doesn’trequire more gas for local industry,” Rosa Ortiz, chief executive of state oilcompany Perupetro, told reporters this week, adding that Peru “is a countrywhich respects contracts”.
