Pacific Rubiales has signed a deal with Belgian shipowner Exmar for a floating liquefaction, regasification and storage unit.

Adding a new acronym to the LNG sector’s alphabet soup, the agreement will see Exmar build, operate and maintain the FLRSU on Colombia’s Caribbean coast.

The liquefaction, regasification, storage and loading services agreement involves 69.5 million cubic feet per day of exports over 15 years under a tolling structure.
