Australian outfit Origin Energy has signed up to supply the GLNG liquefaction project with gas for 10 years.
The company has inked a binding heads of agreement with the export plant’s partners for the supply of 365 petajoules of gas at Wallumbilla, with deliveries kicking off in 2015.
Gas will be sourced from Origin’s east coast portfolio.
The deal includes a condition that will allow Origin to call back 1.825
