Terminal developer Oregon LNG expects to file permit applications for an export facility as early as next week.
The outfit is aiming to export Canadian gas through the liquefaction project at the same site as its permitted but unconstructed import facility in Warrenton, The Oregonian newspaper reports.
"We expect 100 percent of our gas to come from Canada," project manager Peter Hansen told the newspaper.
