- Petronas and Progress Energy have chosen Lelu Island in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, as the preferred site for their LNG export project. The Malaysian state outfit and Canadian gas producer have entered into an exclusive agreement with the Prince Rupert Port Authority to carry out further “feasibility and investigative studies” at the plot. A feasibility study for the liquefaction project is due to be completed by the end of this month, Progress said.
