- Chevron has confirmed it is expecting the first cargo to be produced at the Angola LNG project in September. The US supermajor said commissioning activities are under way and LNG berthing trials have been completed. Last month a fire at the Angola LNG plant was said to have pushed back testing of the new 5.2 million tonnes per annum liquefaction facility near Soyo.
