- Spectra Energy is close to sealing a $4 billion to $6 billion deal to build a feedstock gas pipeline for a Canadian LNG export project. “A very large player (is planning) to move gas from the Horn River and the Montney to the West Coast of British Columbia (and on) to Asian markets,” it said. “(This is) something we’ve been working on for the better part of a year now, and I think we are very close to making an announcement,” said Spectra chief Greg Ebel.
