Anadarko has hit more gas off Mozambique as it works to prove up reserves for a multi-train LNG project.
The exploration outfit encountered more than 92 metres of natural gas pay in its Atum well in Offshore Area 1 of the Rovuma Basin, in what Anadarko is calling “another significant natural gas accumulation”.
Preliminary data suggests the discovery is linked to an earlier find in the Golfinho well within Area 1.
