MEO Australia has secured a five year extension on the environmental approval for its Tassie Shoal LNG project in the Timor Sea.
The Australian government stretched the consent to at least 28 March 2017 after altering its approval of the scheme.
The federal environment department reviewed the status of the permit and asked for some changes to the terms to bring it in line with current approvals.
