- Tokyo Gas has signed a preliminary agreement to renew a supply deal with Malaysia LNG. The Japanese utility intends to buy around 900,000 tonnes per annum from the MLNG Dua export project in Bintulu over 10 years starting from April 2015, after the original contract expires. Tokyo Gas has been buying LNG from the plant since 1995.
- An LNG carrier that was due to deliver a cargo to Malaysia’s new Lekas import terminal has been diverted to the UK.
