Malaysia’s LNG exports have continued to grow this year thanks to an efficiency drive at the nation’s massive production complex, which meant it could push out further volume increases to help meet Japanese demand.
Customs data to end-October show that the world’s third largest supplier sent 20.9 million tonnes of the fuel into the market, pushing the limits of nameplate capacity at Malaysia LNG in Bintulu.
